Smart BOOK-KEEPING for modern professionals.

your financial datayour controlyour success

A private book of account for freelancers, founders and small businesses. A photographed receipt fills itself in for you to confirm, a connected mailbox reads the next one on its own, and none of it ever asks for your bank login.

The myClerkBook dashboard, showing income and expenses for a period with a running balance.

No bank login. No aggregator. No exceptions.

Every number here is a fact about how the product is built, not a claim about how many people use it.

0
Bank connections

No login, no aggregator, no read access. Architectural, not a setting.

166
Currencies

Every amount stored exactly as entered, with daily conversion on Premium.

7
Core features

All seven are built, shipped and live in the product today.

2
Frameworks

POPIA and GDPR, designed in from the schema up rather than bolted on.

AI Powered

Upload an invoice, a receipt or a statement and myClerkBook reads the amount, the date, the vendor and the currency off it, then hands the entry back to you filled in. Every field carries a confidence score, and anything it is unsure of is flagged rather than quietly guessed.

  • Images, PDFs, plain text and spreadsheets
  • Up to 20 documents in one go
  • You review and confirm before anything is saved
  • The same pipeline reads a connected mailbox on its own

Statement Import

Bank statements take a different path. OFX, QFX and CSV exports read as structured data — no AI is involved, and it uses none of your parsing allowance. One statement a month per dashboard, from a file you export yourself. There is no bank connection and no credentials.

Smart Insights

A book you have to remember to open is a book you stop opening. Wire a trigger to a message once, choose where it reaches you, and it runs itself. An alert with nothing to say stays quiet.

The dashboard is not a fixed report you are given. Pick the panels that answer your questions, drag and resize them until the page is laid out the way you read, and change the period once at the top for all of them.

Multiple Dashboards

Premium

One set of books for everything is how a freelancer loses track of which client is actually profitable. A dashboard is a whole separate environment with its own groups, base currency and alerts, and nothing leaks between them.

Multiple Currencies

Premium

Record an amount in whatever currency it arrived in. myClerkBook converts for display against a rate refreshed daily across 166 currencies, and always shows you the original. A rate moving never changes what you recorded.

Integrations

Three connections, each optional, each one you can revoke in a single action. None of them is a bank, and none of them is a data aggregator.

  • A mailbox

Gmail, Outlook or iCloud, read-only. Receipts parse as they arrive, separate from the account you sign in with, and revoking takes one action.

  • Your own model key

When the Agent ships, point it at your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Google key instead of buying credits. It is encrypted, and it is never used for document parsing.

  • WhatsApp

Alerts reach you on WhatsApp from a linked number. When the Agent ships, the same thread will answer questions about your books, read-only by design, because a write with no confirmation step is the wrong shape for a ledger.

Collaboration

Premium

Access and permission are two different questions, and conflating them is what makes a permission model dangerous. Scope says which books someone can reach. Role says what they can do there. Every change is an audit entry in plain language, and a restore is itself an entry.

Viewer seats are free on every plan. You pay so someone can change your book, not so they can look at it.

What this product is built on.

Three commitments that decide what gets built and, more often, what does not.

Transparency

Every figure traces back to the document it came from. Nothing is estimated behind your back, every automated change is logged, and the roadmap says plainly what exists and what does not.

Privacy

We cannot sell what we never asked for. No bank login, no aggregator, no data broker. myClerkBook does not have that door, so there is nothing to leave open. Your books are readable only by you and the people you invite, enforced by the database itself rather than by code that could carry a bug. Documents you hand over are read only to extract the entries you confirm, and text formats are stripped of names and account numbers before they leave our side. Delete means deleted.

Versatility

One ledger for a freelancer, several for a founder running more than one thing. 166 currencies, your own widgets and automations, on the web today and on desktop and phone as the roadmap reaches them.

Two plans, both cheaper than the hour you spend on this.

Pay monthly or yearly. A yearly plan costs ten months rather than twelve. Prices are in US dollars and include tax wherever you are.
