Parsing
Upload an invoice, a receipt or a statement and myClerkBook reads the amount, the date, the vendor and the currency off it, then hands the entry back to you filled in. Every field carries a confidence score, and anything it is unsure of is flagged rather than quietly guessed.

Statement Import
Bank statements take a different path. OFX, QFX and CSV exports read as structured data: no AI is involved, and each row returned for your review uses one parsing credit, like every other entry. The file is one you export yourself, so there is no bank connection and no credentials.

Multiple Currencies
Record an amount in whatever currency it arrived in. myClerkBook converts for display against a rate refreshed daily across 166 currencies, and always shows you the original. A rate moving never changes what you recorded.

Collaboration
Access and permission are two different questions, and conflating them is what makes a permission model dangerous. Scope says which books someone can reach. Role says what they can do there. Every change is an audit entry in plain language, and a restore is itself an entry.
Viewer seats are free: the person you invite needs their own account, and no plan. You pay so someone can change your book, not so they can look at it.

Transparency
Every figure traces back to the document it came from. Nothing is estimated behind your back, and every automated change is logged.
Privacy
Your books are readable only by you and the people you invite, enforced by the database itself rather than by code that could carry a bug. Documents you hand over are read only to extract the entries you confirm, and text formats are stripped of names and account numbers before they leave our side. Delete means deleted. There is no bank connection and no aggregator, so there is no door here to leave open.
Versatility
