Multiple Dashboards

One set of books for everything is how a freelancer loses track of which client is actually profitable. A dashboard is a whole separate environment, not a filter over a shared pile.

How it works

  1. 01

    Each book stands alone

Its own groups, its own base currency, its own alerts and its own widgets. Nothing is shared between two dashboards unless you deliberately build a rollup.

  2. 02

    Switching keeps your place

Switch book from the top bar and you land on the same section you were reading, not on a chooser page and not back at the dashboard.

  3. 03

    Up to five

Five is the point at which a person is running separate concerns rather than organising one, and past it the switcher stops helping.

Three books, three balances

Each row is one dashboard with its own base currency. A figure never silently sums across books.
