What it will not do
It cannot reach your bank. Not because we switched it off, but because myClerkBook has no bank access to give it. There are no credentials to misuse and no aggregator holding your transaction history.
Every tool is off until you turn it on. Permission is granted per person, per book and per tool, and the default is deny. Of the ten tools it can hold, two are enabled to begin with, and both only read.
It proposes writes; it never performs them. The eight tools that would change your ledger start disabled, and even switched on they put an entry in front of you to approve. Nothing reaches your book unread.
It is told less than you can see. It works from summaries and your most recent entries, never your full history and never your identity.
